Free Hot Chocolate, Apple Cider and Cookies. Walk around the display and warm up by the fire. ******** Updated display in 2021 !!2006 was our first year to have a computerized Christmas Display. We started the project in July 2006 with the help of the Hargis and Horner Family. Opening day was the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. It was a lot of work as we made the little Christmas trees as well as the 12' tree with 6,400 lights. The work was worth it since we tried to have the attitude of celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The whole display was about thirty thousand lights. We had a great time doing it, so we did it again in every year since. We added more lights and features. It's June we normally have to start building anything new for the Christmas Season. Our schedule for setup goes something like this. Mid November we start setting up the 13' tree. During the week and weekends start wrapping trees. Starting Sunday Nov after Thanksgiving weekend afternoon and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings we'll setup everything. The first Friday in December we have that year's Grand Opening. We had to cancel Grand Openings in the past because of rain.
